Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your data. You can request complete deletion of your Belvoir account and all associated data at any time.

How to delete your account:

  1. Open the Belvoir app on your device.
  2. Go to ProfileSettings.
  3. Tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm your decision. Your account and data will be permanently deleted.

Alternatively, request via email:

Send an email to support.belvoir@bygaze.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Belvoir account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, profile picture)
  • All plant scans and scan history
  • All reports you have submitted
  • Your karma points and credit balance
  • Green spots you have saved
  • Botanical Coach conversation history
  • Community memberships and contributions
  • Environmental impact data

Note: Anonymized, aggregated data that does not identify you (e.g., total community scan counts) may be retained for collective impact reporting.

Data Retention Period

Upon receiving a deletion request, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible.
